Fulbright Scholarship

The Fulbright Scholarship provides young professionals, graduate students, and artists from overseas with the opportunity to study and carryout research in the United States at U.S. universities and other academic institutions.

The scholarship is fully funded and is only offered for masters and PhD studies. Fulbright Foreign Student Program covers full tuition fee, full accommodation fee, airfare, a living stipend, and health insurance.

The scholarships are funded by the U.S. Department of State, which is the U.S. government’s leading international educational exchange program. The program is by designed aimed at nurturing mutual understanding among countries via this educational and cultural exchange.

The awards are non-discriminatory regardless of an applicant’s nationality, race, sex, color, age, socio-economic status, religion, disability, sexual orientation or gender identity. The scholarships provide opportunities to people from economically disadvantaged groups, minorities and those from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds.

Deadline varies by country although, it is around February to October annually.
